Family Time

I just spent time with my family in St. George, which brought back many happy memories.  I'm so lucky to have had such a wonderful childhood.  I hope my kids will say that when they get older, too.

The weather was perfect.  Harold and I went for long walks, got pampered in Mesquite, shopped and went to movies.  We had so much fun, we stayed a few extra days!

Did I mention Beau is the team captain?

I also took pictures of the girls in Beau's cheering section.   I'll post it if I ever need blackmail!

Young at Heart

As everyone in their 40's and 50's learn, aging happens.  Harold and I swear we will always be young at heart.  It's all in your attitude...right?

So as our kids get older, we are enjoying the freedom of not having children at home.  We eat at restaurants peacefully and sit away from families with screaming kids.  We clean the house and it stays clean!  We love spending time with the little people and going back to our nice quiet house!

I may have aches and pains from hiking, that I didn't have in my 20's and 30's, but my pedicure looks great!  I don't love wrinkles, but they are a small price to pay for wisdom.  Harold reminds me all the time "It's better to be over the hill, than under it."

Jason was invited to stay with some friends in Colorado for awhile.  On the trip back, we stopped in Moab for some sunshine and exercise.  Enjoy the sunny pics!
