Just A Few Thoughts

Yesterday, we went to Brady's funeral, which was one of the hardest days of my life. Through all the tears, family and friends came together to celebrate his young, sweet life.

Following are a few thoughts Harold and I had after the funeral:

Go out of you way to be nice and helpful. People aren't always as happy as they appear to be.
A lot more people love you, and are willing to help you, than you realize.
Things will be better tomorrow.
Don't make huge decisions when you're upset or with little information.
Look at the positive things. Don't be a negative person.
Happiness is a choice.
It's not always about you...you are happier when you are helping someone else.
People don't need to be your best friend to receive your encouragement.
Don't be quick to judge people. You don't know what's really going on in people's life.
Parents enjoy seeing their kids excel but also feel all the pain when they are hurt.

Love you, Brady

Brady Grote

Brady is standing in the picture

I'm heartbroken about the death of Brady Grote. Brady and Garrett are Jason's best buds and we've enjoyed having them hang out with us. Our family will cry, along with all the people who do not understand this tragedy. We will give our love and support to the family and we'll always keep Brady's memory close to our hearts.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the Poulsen family.

Ohhhh The Little People!

Harold and I were supposed to go to St. George to watch football on Halloween. These little bugs made us change our mind. Just one little smile from Mason, Maddox, Elle or Carter makes our day!
