Just A Few Thoughts

Yesterday, we went to Brady's funeral, which was one of the hardest days of my life. Through all the tears, family and friends came together to celebrate his young, sweet life.

Following are a few thoughts Harold and I had after the funeral:

Go out of you way to be nice and helpful. People aren't always as happy as they appear to be.
A lot more people love you, and are willing to help you, than you realize.
Things will be better tomorrow.
Don't make huge decisions when you're upset or with little information.
Look at the positive things. Don't be a negative person.
Happiness is a choice.
It's not always about you...you are happier when you are helping someone else.
People don't need to be your best friend to receive your encouragement.
Don't be quick to judge people. You don't know what's really going on in people's life.
Parents enjoy seeing their kids excel but also feel all the pain when they are hurt.

Love you, Brady

perspective... life is so short, all the small things and each moment really do count.

I am so sorry to know you and your family are hurting. It is heartbreaking and so sad.
