Whew!  It's so nice to finally sit back, relax and enjoy the Christmas season.  I really enjoyed having my sisters and their families over for dinner.  It seems like we were laughing all night long.

Happy Thanksgiving

Kenny tackled stuffing and sweet potatoes.  Jessa slaved over the cranberry salad, pies and mashed potatoes.  I wrestled the turkey, vegetables and gravy.  Harold and I have so much to be thankful for.  But most of all, we are thankful for the love and support of our kids!

Okay, so year 47 was a bit CRAZY!  I'm very optimistic that my 48th year will outstanding!  I'm always amazed at life's lessons.  Following are a few things I've learned this year and some things that are just important to me:

I didn't cause it, I can't control it and I can't cure it - Dayspring saved my sanity!

Things can get worse, but we'll deal with it and it will be okay

Being a Step Mom/Dad doesn't get easier

The best way to make other people happy is to be happy yourself

I'm so fortunate to have the family and friends that I do!  I'm looking forward to Jason's meatloaf at Thanksgiving, Jessa's visits during the week, hugs from the little people, running with Kenny and Kevin, Harold's love and partnership and tackling another year in Real Estate!  48 here I come!

Harold and I celebrated our 6th wedding anniversary in Vegas.   Although the Wynn's slots weren't very good to us, we had a great time shopping and dining!  On the way home, we spent some time with my Mom, Dad & Michelle.  Michelle also gave me a pleasant surprise at the hair salon!  Thanks Chelle!

Football Season

I was sad to see Kevin's football days come to an end.  For the past 15 years,  I've dedicated my fall season to football.  Gabe has saved us!  Gabe decided to play Alta Little League this year.  He made the "A" team and he's doing great!  Go #28!

WELCOME TO THE U!

I'm such a Utah fan!  I'm thrilled Jessa's going to the U this year!  This week she moved into her dorm and started college life.  Harold and I dropped in for a visit and ate college food at the parents dinner. I wish everyone could experience college life.  Jessa is going to have a riot at the U!  I'm going to need more Utah apparel!
