Bring on 48!

48

Okay, so year 47 was a bit CRAZY!  I'm very optimistic that my 48th year will outstanding!  I'm always amazed at life's lessons.  Following are a few things I've learned this year and some things that are just important to me:

Be Karen
Show acts of love
Addiction is a disease - addicts should be treated as patients
I didn't cause it, I can't control it and I can't cure it - Dayspring saved my sanity!
Things can get worse, but we'll deal with it and it will be okay
My higher power is my husband and family
Never stop hugging your kids
A penny saved is a penny earned
Eva Wilson lives on through Michelle
Being a Step Mom/Dad doesn't get easier
Acts of kindness do make a difference
The best way to make other people happy is to be happy yourself

I'm so fortunate to have the family and friends that I do!  I'm looking forward to Jason's meatloaf at Thanksgiving, Jessa's visits during the week, hugs from the little people, running with Kenny and Kevin, Harold's love and partnership and tackling another year in Real Estate!  48 here I come!
