Helsinki, FinlandOur cruise is coming to an end. We only have 1 more port to go to tomorrow, which is Oslo, Norway.
Helsinki was very small and quaint. Everyone was amazed how clean the city was. We went to a midevil town called Porvoo. After, we went to a horse breeding farm and had lunch. The horses were huge! When we toured the stables,and everyone was afraid of the horses but Harold. He was showing us how to pet the horses so they wouldn't be afraid. My "Bird Whisperer" turned into a "Horse Whisperer". He's such a natural!
Other than St. Petersburg, my favorite city has been Stockholm, Sweden. The city is just beautiful! Stockholm is a place we need to come back to.
Today we went to Copenhagen and did the castle tour. The castles rivaled what we saw in St. Petersburg. Darn the Royals have a good life. By the way...so do our diplomats! Every country pointed out the US Embassy. Palaces...I mean palaces. It's our tax dollars hard at work!
We have really lucked out and we haven't had any rain! Most days we can get away with wearing shorts. It sprinkled a few drops today...but nothing more. We've met some very interesting people. Since we are such a tall couple, people have noticed us and are always making comments.
I'm getting really excited to come home. I miss our family! (Karen) Harold would like to stay another week. He is enjoying no stress!

I told you...he is Dr. Dolittle in disguise, ha ha that's hilarious. It sounds like it has been a great cruise I can't wait to see pictures!!! Love ya...be safe.
